Getting to know our clients is paramount...after all we will be working with you quite closely, and for quite a bit of time.
Over the years I've realised how well my values also work for our clients. We don’t want our clients to feel ‘boxed’ into a prescribed trend or tied to particular suppliers. Everything we do is done with the client’s unique requirements in mind.
“Outstanding” is the only standard that I insist on for the SW Events team and our suppliers. But, as I mentioned, it’s not all about work. For me there definitely needs to be some great laughs along the way. Planning does not need to be super serious or stressful!

“Connection, Love and Fun” are the values that define me as an event and wedding planner. To be able to connect with clients and suppliers, to love what I do and to combine those qualities with a little bit of fun is what matters to me.
Meet LaToya
Having a background in Hospitality it was a natural fit for me, nonetheless we wanted to do things right, so we attended a wedding planning academy by one of the best planners in the UK. From there we organised our first (non-wedding) event and shortly after that, our first wedding.
Since then we’ve developed significantly as entrepreneurs and planners putting lots of systems and processes in place to help us collaborate with our wedding clients and also create events for non-wedding clients too.
On a day to day basis you’ll find me liaising with suppliers, clients, answering queries, making scale floor plans and putting client documents together as well general operations for the business. On the day of an event you’ll find me behind the scenes making sure things are running to plan…a very thorough and detailed plan, if I do say so myself!
When we’re not planning or co-ordinating events, you’ll find me playing with our dog (Jake… He’s super cute!), dreaming up ideas of what to do on future events or catching up on Netflix.
